Inspite Oppn abuse, your 'Chowkidar' is as alert as ever: PM Modi
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday launched Bharatiya Janata Party-led (BJP) National Democratic Alliance's (NDA) Sankalp rally at Patna’s Gandhi Maidan along with Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
The two shared the dias after a decade. Last time they were seen together in a political rally in Ludhiana in 2009.
Bihar CM Nitish Kumar addressed the Sankalp rally first. Nitish Kumar praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for giving the security forces a free hand in dealing with Pakistan-based terror organisations and thanked the Indian Air Force for their action against terrorists. "I congratulate Prime Minister Narendra Modi for forcing Pakistan to release Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman with a short span," said Nitish Kumar while praising the government's diplomacy.
With Centre's support Bihar government will build toilets for all and houses in every corner of Bihar by October 2, 2019, said CM Nitish Kumar. "By this Gandhi Jayanti 2019, Bihar will be open defecation free," said Nitish Kumar. He praised PM Modi for bringing electricity to most of the villages across the country.
The vision of the NDA is to eliminate illiteracy in Bihar and to guarantee education and health schemes for all. NDA government will work for development in Bihar, said PM Narendra Modi.
Competition is ongoing to abuse the 'Chowkidar', but be assured, your 'Chowkidar' is as alert as ever, said PM Modi.

People of Bihar are very much aware of what all happened in the name of fodder. Only we have dared to end the culture of corruption and middlemen which had been a normal practice in the country for decades, said PM Modi.
Now they have even started asking for proof of the Balakot Air Strike. Why are Congress and its allies demoralising our forces? Why are they giving statements which are benefiting our enemies,? asked PM Modi.
The New India will not keep quiet after the martyrdom of our brave jawans. Our enemies will have to pay the ultimate price of their every misdeed, said PM Modi.
