Matter not of much concern, will take stringent steps: J&K Police on missing jawan

The missing jawan of 173 of Territorial Army has been identified as Zahoor Thakur, a resident of Pulwama district of the state.

Bandipora (Jammu and Kashmir): After a jawan went missing with AK-47 from his camp in Jammu and Kashmir's Baramulla's Gantmulla on Thursday, GoC Kilo force A K Singh on Thursday said that this is not a matter of much concern and they will take stringent steps so that such actions are not repeated.

"It is not a matter of much concern. We will take stringent action so that such matters are not repeated," he said.

The missing jawan of 173 of Territorial Army has been identified as Zahoor Thakur, a resident of Pulwama district of the state.

The Jammu and Kashmir Police has started investigating the case.
