All four accused in Hyderabad vet rape and murder case killed in encounter

The four accused in the rape and murder of the veterinarian that rocked the country are said to have been killed in an encounter with the police at Chatanpally of Shadnagar which is located about 50km from Hyderabad.

As per police sources, the four accused attempted to flee when they were taken to Chatanpally, where the burnt body of the victim was located in a bid to reconstruct the crime scene.

As per The Hindu, sources state that the accused snatched weapons from the police and began firing when they were taken to Chatanpally.

As of writing, the Cyberabad police are yet to make an official statement on how the encounter took place. Officials stated that they would announce details soon.

The encounter is said to have taken place nearby to where the victim was torched after being raped.
