Patna: The crisis seems to have deepened within the Congress in Bihar as few more party leaders have started showing signs of revolt.

The latest to raise the banner of rebellion is Congress MLA from Buxar Sanjay Kumar Tiwary who has accused the CLP leader Sadanand Singh of weakening the party.

Mr Tiwary said that he is planning to meet senior central leaders and inform them about the situation within the state unit.

The area of concern is the Assembly seat of Bhabhua where according to him Sadanand Singh lobbied hard for a candidate who has not been associated with the Congress party for a long time.

Sanjay Kumar Tiwary,  while raising questions on choice of the candidate, had said that “CLP leader ignored several important aspects while fielding an OBC candidate from the Brahmin-dominated constituency. I will meet central leaders in New Delhi and inform them about the situation which has been going on in the state unit.”
