Odisha: Woman chops off youth's genitals after tiff over phone
Bhubaneswar: A married woman allegedly chopped off a youth’s genital at Harichandanpur in Odisha’s Keonjhar district late on Wednesday night as the victim reportedly asked her not talk to others except him over telephone.
According reports, the victim Rajendra Nayak hailing from Jharabeda village in Ghatagaon in Keonjhar district works in private company in Chennai. On Wednesday evening, he returned Keonjhar. Instead of going to his village, he went to the woman’s house for night halt.
The woman, whom the youth claims to be his friend, allegedly forced him to consume liquor during his stay at her house. After he became unconscious, she cut off his private part, Nayak alleged.
“She is a good friend of mine. We used to talk over mobile phone. I had earlier reprimanded her for talking to others over phone and asked her to have telephonic conversation only with me. She might have committed this act due out of anger,” the victim said.
Rajendra Nayak was rushed to a primary health centre, from where he was later shifted to Keonjhar.
“The patient was rushed to DHH in critical conditions. His conditions is now stable and he is responding well to all medical interventions,” said doctors treating Rajendra.
