Bengaluru: As the investigation into the murder of journalist and activist Gauri Lankesh progresses, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the case is strongly suspecting the hand of right wing fundamentalists behind the killing.

As there are striking similarities in the killings of Lankesh and other rationalists, including M.M. Kalburgi, an SIT official has been sent to Mumbai to bring the details of the murder cases of Govind Pansare and Narendra Dabholkar.

Though cops have not got any major clues, they suspect those inclined to right wing ideologies may be behind this.
