Bajrangi’s murderer is like God: BJP MLA

Lucknow: Controversial BJP MLA Surendra Singh, on Wednesday, issued another statement  saying that Sunil Rathi, the criminal accused in the murder of gangster Munna Bajrangi was like “God”.

The statement, which is in extremely bad taste, is the latest addition to the long list of controversial statements made by the BJP MLA.

 “I look up to Sunil Rathi as a God. Munna Bajrangi was a criminal and deserved to meet a bloody end. Rathi has played a God’s role in this”, he told reporters in Ballia.

Mr Singh further said that jail officials were corrupt and that is how the weapon could be smuggled into the jail. “If you have the money, you can get anything inside a jail and Munna Bajrangi’s murder is a result of bureaucratic corruption”, he added.

He stated that the murder was a result of a well planned conspiracy and one should thank God for making Sunil Rathi eliminate a dreaded criminal.

He further said that those who live by the bullet also die by it.
