Congress to KBC: Don’t promote BJP leaders
The participant gave the “correct” reply as MP chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan to win Rs 40,000.
Bhopal: An episode of Amitabh Bachhan-anchored Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) show, telecast recently, has sparked a furor in the Opposition circle here for allegedly promoting Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan as Mama (uncle).
The fourth question asked to the participant in the show telecast on September 5 was: “Who among the chief ministers in the country is known as Mama.”
The participant gave the “correct” reply as MP chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan to win Rs 40,000.
The Opposition Congress, however, took strong objection to the question, accusing the KBC of using the show as the platform for campaigning for the BJP.
In a letter to Sony TV and Bachhan, Congress urged them not to make it a political platform to promote BJP.
