Bengaluru: Surya Kiran team is not only there to enthrall the audience with adrenalin gushing stunts, but want the youth feel inspired enough to take up a career in the Indian Air Force.

The 10-member team in their red colour uniforms and sunglasses are sure to trigger a thought in the young minds to join the armed forces.

Wing Commander Ajit Kulkarni, who heads the 10-member team, said, "A deep rooted thought prevails even today among the masses that a job in the Indian armed forces is too tough and not their cup of tea. But it is not the case. With proper training and concentration, anyone who wishes to be like us can reach our position and scale more too."

“Believe me the job is really satisfying and the career is also challenging at the same time,” he added.

Kulkaarni further said that some five or ten years down the line India will be a superpower in the military arena and that cannot happen if young minds do not look up to armed forces for a promising career.

"On one side we see our economy growing and simultaneously on the other hand we can see our defence sector scaling new heights and it is sure to be a military superpower in future," he said.

One of his team mate, Squadron leader Ajay Dashrathi echoed the same and said, “We are the face of Indian Air Force.”
