Failed to get job, 21-yr-old Hyd man hangs self after recording message
Hyderabad: Upset over not getting a job, a 21-year-old man allegedly committed suicide in Hyderabad after leaving a recorded video message on the decision to end his life, police said on Thursday.
The man, reportedly under 'depression' over being jobless, hanged himself from the ceiling fan in his rented room at Saroornagar locality on Wednesday night.
He committed suicide when his friends, staying with him, were away. They found him hanging when they came back, Saroornagar police inspector said.
A video footage found in the mobile phone of the deceased showed him earlier climbing a chair and attempting to hang himself.
Later, he was seen getting down and recording a video message saying he wanted to end his life, the inspector said.
However, the youth did not specify any reason for the extreme step.
Citing investigations, police said the man was in search of employment and had attended a job interview on Wednesday also.
He did not succeed in getting the job and apparently due to it he was under stress, police added.
