New Delhi: Several trains and flight services have been affected on Sunday morning as dense fog continues to engulf northern India due to the fall in temperature.
Around 26 trains were delayed and nine have been rescheduled due to poor visibility.
Flight services at the Indira Gandhi International Airport were also affected, resulting in a delay of at least five international and three domestic flights.
The morning in the capital was also chilly, as temperature fell down to 11° C.
The meteorological department has predicted that the nation will witness an above normal winter this season while northern areas of India will likely have fewer cold wave spells.
