The passengers were reportedly returning from temple in Pandarpur when a truck filled with sand hit the bus from behind.

Sangli (Maharashtra) : At least 6 people belonging to the same family succumbed to injuries while ten others were severely injured after a luxury bus collided with truck on Miraj-Pandarpur highway of Maharashtra's Sangli district on Friday.

The passengers were reportedly returning from temple in Pandarpur when a truck filled with sand hit the bus from behind.

The bodies were identified as Vinayak Martand Londe, Gaurav Raju Narde, Lakhan Raju Sankaji, Renuka Nandkumar Hegde, Nandkumar Jayram Hegde and Aditya Nandkumar Hegde.

The injured were admitted to the nearest government hospital in Miraj.
