Bengaluru: Stung by the exit from power just two days after B.S. Yeddyurappa took over as CM, the BJP has decided to go all out to win the Jayanagar and Rajarajeshwarinagar Assembly polls and may announce candidates for these two seats and MLC candidates for six graduate-teacher constituencies in a day or two.
A senior BJP leader said the names doing the rounds for the June 11 poll in Jayanagar include those of BJP MLC Tara and RSS leader Chayapathi besides a relative of late MLA B.N. Vijaykumar. Soumya Reddy, daughter of former home minister Ramalinga Reddy may be the Congress candidate for Jayanagar.
