Fire breaks out at Shah’s meeting venue
The fire which was caused by a short-circuit was contained within about 15 minutes but the sound system went off for some time.
Rae Bareli: A minor fire broke out at the venue of the BJP rally in the GIC ground here, where party president Amit Shah and UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath were present on Saturday.

UP BJP chief Mahendra Nath Pandey was addressing the rally when smoke was noticed from a corner of the pandal. Securitymen and a fire-fighting personnel swung into action and put out the flames even as commotion prevailed in the area.
When the rally resumed, Mr Shah dismissed the fire episode as a small obstacle and said such things happen when something big is about to happen.
