Ignoring RLSP may prove fatal for BJP: Kushwaha
Patna: RLSP working committee president Nagmani on Saturday said that ignoring Upendra Kushwaha may prove fatal for the BJP in the 2019 general elections.
His statement comes two days after chief minister Nitish Kumar met BJP president Amit Shah in New Delhi to discuss the seat-sharing issues. The RLSP is reportedly upset with the BJP for ignoring Union minister Upendra Kushwaha and giving more weight to Bihar CM Kumar.
“The BJP should assess the situation on the ground before setting a priority. The fact is that our party has gained support in Bihar and not the JD(U),” RLSP working committee president Nagami said.
JD(U) leaders had earlier claimed that “seat-sharing discussions with the BJP are in the final stages and an official announcement will be made soon”.
