VHP chief Kokje visits Ayodhya Ram temple

Talking to reporters, he said that Lord Ram would decide on the date of temple construction.

Lucknow: Newly-elected Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) chief Vishnu Sadashiv Kokje on Monday visited the make-shift Ram temple in Ayodhya and expressed the hope that the dreams of a grand Ram temple here will soon be a reality.

The former judge, who has served as governor of Himachal Pradesh, also offered prayers at the fabled Hanuman Garhi temple. He had arrived in Ayodhya on Sunday.

Talking to reporters, he said that Lord Ram would decide on the date of temple construction.

“The Ram temple is a symbol of our faith and we will carry forward the steps taken so far. We are confident that the court will rule in favor of the temple with the blessings of Lord Ram”, he said.
