Mr Majhi, a former minister of BJD joined the saffron party after alleging that he was neglected by BJD after losing the 2009 Lok Sabha elections.
In a yet another embarrassment to the ruling BJD, a clash broke out between the supporters of BJD Khandapada MLA Anubhav Patnaik and BJD MP Soumya Ranjan Patnaik during Jana Sampark Pada-yatra in Banamalipur Panchayat of Nayagarh on Monday evening.
As per reports, the brawl started after Soumya Ranjan’s supporters allegedly raised slogans against the Khandapada MLA.
