Mumbai man's family receives 400 calls over hoax Whatsapp message of his demise
He said it was 'sheer harassment' and registered a complaint with Dahisar police.
Mumbai: Ravindra Dusange, a resident of Dahisar, Mumbai on Thursday said that his family had received over 400 calls after the news of his demise went viral on WhatsApp.
In what looked like a hoax WhatsApp forward, someone took Dusagne's photograph from Facebook and attached a condolence message to it, the Times Of India reported.
The message later went viral. Dusagne was at his in-law's place when he got calls from his friends who informed about the messages that were being circulated.
He said it was 'sheer harassment' and registered a complaint with Dahisar police.
