Judge recuses, Indu joins probe panel
Justice S.A. Bobde will head the panel that now has two women judges, including Justice Indira Banjerjee.
New Delhi: Justice Indu Malhotra of the Supreme Court was on Thursday appointed as the third member of an in-house inquiry panel constituted to look into allegations of sexual harassment against Chief Justice of India (CJI) Ranjan Gogoi, hours after panel member Justice N.V. Ramana recused himself on the complainant’s allegation that he was “almost like family” to the Chief Justice.
