President Ram Nath Kovind to visit Czech Republic
During the Presidential visit, the Czech Republic will press for direct flights between India and his country, Mr. Masarik said.
New Delhi: President Ram Nath Kovind will visit the Czech Republic on a four-day official visit from September 6 to 9, the Czech Republic Embassy’s Deputy Head of Mission (DHM) Roman Masarik announced on Monday in New Delhi.
During the Presidential visit, the Czech Republic will press for direct flights between India and his country, Mr. Masarik said.
The European country is expected to push for closer ties with India and wants more Indian tourists to visit. Mr. Masarik was speaking at an event where it was also announced that UAE-based low-cost carrier Air Arabia will start flights from Sharjah in the Gulf to Prague in December this year. This will help facilitate movement of Indian tourists to Prague since 13 destinations in India are already connected by the Gulf-based carrier to the UAE currently.
