Lucknow: Schemes of the Modi and Yogi governments will get a major push at the Kumbh Mela to be held early next year.
The Yogi Adityanath government is planning to use the Kumbh Mela to publicise schemes like Swachchh Bharat, Ayushman Bharat, Ujjwala scheme and Saubhagya scheme. The development of the Ramayana circuit, Buddha circuit, Krishna circuit initiated by the Yogi government will also be publicised during the Kumbh Mela.
CM Yogi Adityanath is turning the Kumbh into a mega event and has said that over 15 crore people will visit the Mela next year.
It will provide the perfect platform for the government to get the message across about its schemes to the people who visit the Mela and that too, on the eve of general elections.
The Kumbh Mela in 2019 will be held from Ja-nuary to March, just be-fore the Lok Sabha polls.
It is actually an “Ardh Kumbh Mela” which is being touted as Kumbh Mela by the Yogi government.
