New Delhi: The Congress on Monday moved the Supreme Court against Election Commission of India alleging inaction against PM Modi, Amit Shah for poll code violations.

The Supreme Court said it will hear the matter on Tuesday.

Congress MP Sushmita Dev requested the top court to direct the poll body to decide on complaints against PM Modi and Amit Shah within 24 hours.

In her petition, Dev said that PM Modi and Shah made “hate speeches” at campaign rallies. She also said the duo talked about the operations by the armed forces in public rallies despite the Election Commission’s ban.

The Supreme Court said it will hear the matter on Tuesday.
