MP BSP chief faces charges of molestation
Bhopal: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP)’s Madhya Pradesh unit chief Narmada Prasad Ahirwar has been accused of molesting a woman party worker.
The woman BSP activist, in her complaint lodged against him at the local police station here on Tuesday, alleged that the latter attempted to outrage her modesty and also threatened to eliminate her.
According to the complaint, the state BSP chief had asked her to stay back in his office in the night after a party meeting on May 5 this year.
She also alleged that a close aide of the state BSP chief has been sending sleaze videos and pictures to her WhatsApp.
She had drawn this to the notice of the party in-charge of MP Rajaram for action against the state BSP president.
But no action was taken against him by party leadership.
Hence, she decided to lodge the complaint against him in the police station.
The MP BSP chief has been booked under sections 354 (assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty) and 506 (criminal intimidation), the police said.
