Man exposes cheating wife on FB, kills himself

Bhubaneswar: A young man in Odisha’s Puri district on Thursday committed suicide over his wife’s alleged extramarital affair.

Before taking the extreme step, the young man identified as Santanu Patra, posted a video on Facebook describing the entire situation that drove to end his life.

According to the video posted by Santanu Patra, and his various Facebook posts, his wife, who is working as a nurse at a private nursing home in Cuttack, had a love affair with a youth of Jagatsinghpur namely Amaresh Swain before their marriage and was pregnant.

He also alleged that she committed abortion before the marriage and her family members didn’t reveal the incident to him before it.

“Amaresh had sent me photos of his and my wife’s intimate moments. When I confronted her, she straightly denied her involvement in it saying those were morphed pictures. But, later admitted everything,” he said in the video.
