Bihar: Locals protest against 6-yr-old's rape, demand death sentence for accused

Rohtas: The locals in Karghar area of Bihar’s Rohtas held a protest against the alleged rape of a six-year-old, on Wednesday.

The incident reportedly took place on Tuesday evening, when the victim was playing outside her house. The accused lured her into his house with chocolate.

In a search launched by her family, she was found later in the day in a critical condition. The child was rescued and the accused was arrested by the Police. Presently, the victim is battling for her life at Sasaram Sardar Hospital.

In a show of solidarity with the supporters, the shop-owners in Karghar Market shut down their shops too. According to police, the accused in the case has been arrested, but the enraged locals have been demanding a death sentence for him.
