Mathura (Uttar Pradesh): A 19-year-old girl, hailing from Mathura, was abducted from the Delhi-Agra Highway in broad day light on Saturday.

The victim, along with her mother, was returning from her uncle's house when a few masked men forcefully pulled her out of the auto and took her with them.

While speaking to ANI, the mother of the abducted girl said, "We were returning from her uncle's home when few men, in a car, pulled her out of the auto and took her with them. I couldn't recognise them."

"As soon the complaint was received. The spot was examined and our investigation is underway," Vinay Kumar Chauhan, the Circle Officer, Mathura told ANI.

Earlier in July, the girl was allegedly gangraped and on the basis of the investigation, one accused was sent to the jail.

The accused was recently released and the family of the victim is suspecting that he only has abducted her.

Further details are awaited.
