Muzaffarnagar: Six persons including a married couple were arrested for allegedly beating each other when they were called for counselling at a police station in Muzaffarnagar.

The woman Alka and her husband Hemant Kumar along with their family members were summoned for counselling to resolve some family dispute on Saturday evening, police said.

The family and the couple confronted each other and they were later arrested on charges of apprehension of breach of peace, they said.
