Prime Minister Narendra Modi will meet military chiefs on Tuesday afternoon to review the security situation on the border following surgical strikes by Indian army across the Line of Control (LoC) on September 29.

Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar will be present at the meeting, reports said.

In the surgical strikes on September 29, the army targeted camps in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) made for terrorists planning attacks on cities in India.
