We'll be back soon: BJP website hacked, IT cell trying to resolve issue
New Delhi: The official website of the ruling government at the centre Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) reportedly got hacked with the doctored content posted on the site on Tuesday. However, the party has not yet issued any official statement on the incident.
The screenshots of the homepage of the party site soon started doing rounds on the internet. An obscene message and a meme of Prime Minister Narendra Modi shaking hands with Germany Chancellor Angela Merkel were observed. Below the meme, a music video of Bohemian Rhapsody was seen.

Later, the access to the site was restricted, a message from the website admin said it will be back up soon. “We’ll be back soon! Sorry for the inconvenience but we’re performing some maintenance at the moment. We’ll be back online shortly!” the message read.
Taking the advantage of situation, Congress did not leave any stones unturned to mock the opposition party. Divya Spandana, head of social media for the party tweeted urging people to checkout the website of the BJP.
