Yogi Adityanath compares Akhilesh Yadav to Aurangzeb
Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath, on Friday, slammed Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav and termed him as an ‘opportunist’.
He said that the Samajwadi Party president could not maintain his relationship with his father and uncle and such a person could not be expected to be loyal to the people.
“There is a character who had put his father behind the bars and, today, no one names his son as Aurangzeb,” said Mr Adityanath.
The chief minister was addressing an Other Backward Class conference where he spoke on the role of the Nishad community in history. Deputy chief minister Keshav Maurya announced that the Yogi Adityanath government would set up a statue of Nishad Raj with Lord Ram in Shrangverpuram.
The Bharatiya Janata Party has been going into an overdrive by organising Other Backward Class conferences almost on a daily basis and is addressing different Other Backward Class caste groups. Bharatiya Janata Party leaders inform the Other Backward Classes about the various policies of the government that are designed to benefit them.
In the past one week, the Bharatiya Janata Party has convened seven such meetings to reach out to people from Vishwakarma, Pal, Baghel, Lodh, Sahu, Rathore, Arkvanshi and Bhurji communities.
The Bharatiya Janata Party will be holding seven more caste conferences in the coming days.
The Bharatiya Janata Party apparently wants to assure every major Other Backward Class group that the party cares for them, their issues and their rights
Rajesh Verma, state president of Bharatiya Janata Party Yogi Adityanath Morcha, said, “We are informing the representatives of the backward classes about the party policies. We are telling them how the Other Backward Class commission has been given constitutional right by our party, the income limit has been increased from '6 lakh to '8 lakh and how we have eased the process to get the Other Backward Class caste certificates.”
