PM Modi is the king of fascism', says Mamata Banerjee

Tearing into Mr Modi for seeking votes in the name of jawans in the Lok Sabha elections she also mocked the BJP manifesto.

Kolkata: West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee wondered on Tuesday that former German leader Adolf Hitler, had he been alive, would have committed suicide in shame seeing “fascist emperor rule” by Prime Minister Modi in India.

Tearing into Mr Modi for seeking votes in the name of “jawans” in the Lok Sabha elections she also mocked the BJP manifesto, claiming that the saffron party’s dream would be fulfilled in 2047 when Mr Modi would turn 100.

Lashing out at the PM at Raiganj in North Dinajpur, Ms Banerjee alleged, “They will change the Constitution created by Ambedkar because Mr Modi does not do anything except his own publicity. He has become such a big leader as if he is greater than Mahatma Gandhi, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose and Abul Kalam Azad. He has made a cinema, opened a shop and built a court, all in his name. Our country never had such a cabinet of Duryodhana and Duhshasana earlier.”

Slamming Mr Modi the Trinamul supremo claimed, “He is the emperor of fascism. He is a fascist emperor. If Hitler was alive today, he would have committed suicide with a rope and pitcher. They released their manifesto on Monday stating that their dream would be fulfilled in 2047. This is 2019. Government changes after every five years. They are dreaming of 2047. Ask them to go for re-birth. Modi Babu, you will turn 100 then. How would you dream then?”

Taking a dig at Mr Modi Ms Banerjee complained, “They protect the cows, not the people. We respect cows. But they kill people in the name of protecting cows. What a man! I have never seen a PM who lies so much.”
