CBI to grill Rabri Devi in IRCTC case
New Delhi: Days after her examination by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in the IRCTC hotel scam, the CBI is now preparing to examine former Bihar chief minister Rabri Devi in connection with the case. The CBI will soon issue summons to her for questioning, sources said.
“The CBI has already scrutinised statements given by RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav and his son Tejashwi Yadav in connection with the case. Now, the agency wants to examine Rabri Devi as part of its investigation into the case”, sources said. ED sleuths recently recorded statements of Rabri Devi in Patna. Devi, accompanied by her eldest daughter Misa Bharti and her husband, met the officials at the ED’s zonal office in Patna.
Earlier, Rabri had ignored summonses from the ED at least six times.
