Lok Sabha: Rahul Gandhi walks up to LK Advani for chat

After talking to the former deputy prime minister for nearly five minutes, Rahul was also seen talking to Union minister Ramdas Athawale.

New Delhi: Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi on Thursday had a long conversation with BJP veteran L.K. Advani in the Lok Sabha soon after the Lower House was adjourned following an uproar by the Opposition over the lack of discussion on the issue of mob lynching.

Just before the House was to assemble at 11.30 am following an adjournment of 25 minutes, Mr Gandhi walked over to the treasury benches and was seen holding talks with Mr Advani, who was seated in the front row.

After talking to the former deputy prime minister for nearly five minutes, Rahul was also seen talking to Union minister Ramdas Athawale.

Following this, the Congress leader went upto his mother Congress president Sonia Gandhi.

It stands unclear as to what was the conversation between Rahul and Advani about, though their prattle took place in the backdrop of Bihar developments.
