But who is Donald Trump He’s the seventy-year ash-blonde American who just can’t take no for an answer. Yesterday’s unanimous vote made Trump the 45th President of the United States of America and he is scheduled to take office 20, 2017.Trump, chairman and president of The Trump Organization, has real estate ventures and other business interests across the globe. He has built office towers, hotels, casinos, golf courses, and other facilities worldwide. Now he is all set to re-build America. But Trump has had more than his fair share of controversies. Dirty locker room talk, looking up women’s skirts at restaurants back in the 90s all of which ultimately culminated in a series of alleged sexual harassment cases against him. Several former beauty pageant contestants and even some teenagers have accused Trump of barging into changing rooms when they were naked; all this thanks to his ownership of The Miss USA pageant from 1996 to 2015. It is rumored that Mr Trump has even bragged about all this in an interview with Howard Stern. That’s just the tip of iceberg, there are many scandals associated with him. However, one has to admit it, hate him or love him, there’s no ignoring him. Other questionable stories about Trump are and remain unanswered till date, and may now never see light of day. Mr Trump was born and raised as a New Yorker and graduated from Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania in 1968 with a degree in economics. His father, Fred Trump, handed him his real estate construction company in 1971. Trump rechristened it, ‘The Trump Organiz ation.’ His first big deal in NYC was the development of the Grand Hyatt Hotel in 1978 next to Grand Central Terminal in Manhattan. Not only did he negotiate a 40-year tax abatement for the hotel, in exchange for a share of the venture’s profits but also helped reduce the risk and incentive for investors to participate.Trump is stationed in Tower, designed by architect Der Scutt of Swanke Hayden Connell, which he developed. It is the primary penthouse condominium residence of Donald Trump and doubles up as the main headquarters of the Trump Organization.Donald likes a good gamble; he opened the hotel-casino Harrah’s at Trump Plaza in Atlantic City in 1984.
