Reviewing the processes and the facilities at the Dubai International Airport, the vice President and Prime Minister of UAE, Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum has termed it as the 'Gate of Peace' that links East with the West.

He said that the airport serves as a window to the outside world -- a window through which the world can get a glimpse of UAE and know more about its rich culture, civilisation and heritage.

Al Maktoum also checked on the passenger traffic to UAE and the facilities provided to the travelers by the airport staff.

He was accompanied by Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the crown prince of Dubai along with President of Dubai Civil Aviation.

While going through the procedures at the Terminal dedicated to Emirates Airlines, he lauded the staff for their quick procedures and the record time in which they complete the task. Al Maktoum then proceeded towards the Dubai Duty Free on his last leg of the tour. -"aa-"

As he stopped by the Duty Free, he reviewed its working and prices at which goods are offered to the customers.
