Beauty in a bubble!

Just can’t stop gushing over how you’ve aced the winged eyeliner

Just can’t stop gushing over how you’ve aced the winged eyeliner We’re sorry to spoil your party, but it’s time to ditch those crisp lines for bumpier wings – Bubbled eyeliner, a new eye make-up trend is having a major moment on the beauty shelves. Interested Read on, as make-up artiste Ridhi Kapoor suggests ways to your peepers pop by sporting a bubble eye!

“Quite unlike most trends, the bubble eyeliner is very easy to do as it doesn’t require the precision of an expert hand. Start by lining your upper lids with a thin streak of liner. Now top your liner with a series of dots or curves resembling tiny bumps,” explains Ridhi. While black is certainly a safer bet, one can experiment with vivid hues too. “Electric blues, white and jazzy green can really make your eyes the highlight. But make sure the rest of your makeup is understated, while sporting the trend.” Is the style versatile enough to be carried off for work Well, it is. “ It’s certainly a very playful style to carry off to work. But keep the rest of the makeup to the minimal. For instance, work the bubble eye liner with nude lips and your hair tied into a slick ponytail. This works for work. You may paint your pout in bright colours, but do it only if you’re ready to look bold and go all out!”

While the trend has begun to see a lot of takers, Ridhi suggests that one must also keep a few essentials in handy. “Make sure you use an anti-smudge /smudge proof marker liner, to avoid the mess. Since this make-up trend draws attention to your eyes and the surrounding areas, make sure to thread and fill in your brows. A concealer in the right shade is all you need to carry off the trend.”
