Mannara Chopra Favourite play: Noises off Atul Kumar’s Noises Off is a fabulous play. It is brilliantly written using a play within a play as a literary device. Every actor on stage, including the fictional backstage, manages to recreate the chaos that a theatre production goes through. The play is on par with any international performance of the same production. The set plays an important part in the production and the elaborate set does justice to the play. Mannara is an actress

Kainaat Arora Favourite artist: Armaan Malik Armaan Malik’s songs have always been a part of my playlist. His recent song, Main Rahoon Ya Na Rahoon is one of my favourites. I can listen to his songs on loop for days! What’s worth noting is that the singer has consistently given hits. I think he has a very distinct voice, unlike most singers today. Apart from Armaan, I would also recommend Atif Aslam. Kainaat Arora is an actress

Varun Sharma Favourite film: Andaz Apna Apna I love watching comedy films as much as I enjoy essaying comic roles, so Andaz Apna Apna is my favourite film of all times. The jokes, one-liners and their comic timing make me laugh every time I watch it. The acting in the film looks so effortless and more than enacting roles, they seemed to have just enjoyed themselves thoroughly. Varun is an actor

Anahita Dhondy Favourite restaurant: Guppy by Ai, New Delhi I like to keep visiting restaurants and one of my absolute favourites is Guppy by Ai, located in Lodhi Colony Market, New Delhi. It’s an adorable little space serving some of the best Japanese food I’ve ever had. Their ingredients are fresh and food is flavourful. My favourite dish is the pork belly, which is a burst of flavours. I’ve tried the pork in other cities like Mumbai, Bangalore, London etc. at some of the best restaurants, but it’s this pork belly which is the most satisfying. Anahita Dhondy is a chef at SodaBottleOpenerWala

Manoj Jain Favourite book: Myra Breckinridge A book that I enjoyed reading is Gore Vidal’s Myra Breckinridge. It is a book written about 45 years ago and was banned in some countries due to its controversial nature dealing with transgenders and feminism. A work of fiction, it is replete with fantastic one-liners and quips, written by the master storyteller. I read the book in my late 20s and loved the tongue-in-cheek writing and the misogynistic heroine. I fell in love with the style of writing, the racy theme and clever handling by Vidal. It touched on human sexuality, psychology and relationships and these are topics that appeal to me. It is written with scorn and sassiness on a topic that was a taboo then and still is, making the book relevant to today’s time as well. Manoj Jain is an author

Ishita Dutta Favourite TV show: MasterChef Australia MasterChef Australia is one of my favourite shows on TV. I love food and this extends to my taste on TV as well. When MasterChef’s India edition came on air, it was interesting to see Indian participants fight it out. A bonus is that you learn new recipes. I am waiting for the next season to go on air.
