This would have to be one of the prettiest colour this Spring Summer 2019. Looking at this shade, the one thing that comes to mind is the stunning dress that Lily James wore in Cinderella (2015). The pale blue dress that she wore can be called the highlight of that movie. A colour that can be worn either on its own or with other colours, this trend is definitely here to stay. Worn by several celebrities for several red carpet events, our experts tell us how we can pull off this trend.

The two words that perfectly describe this trend are beautiful and subtle confesses designer Prachita Devi. She adds, “Pale blue is a colour you can experiment with other than white this Spring Summer. It is a shade that is very pleasing and nice. It’s a colour that can be worn for work as well as for a night party. A lot of brides are choosing this colour this season. It’s a fresh take on the colour for the wedding season.”

Designer Ranjeeta Sundar shares that all the colour have been there for a long time, its only now that the colour is gaining popularity. She shares, “A great Indo-Western silhouette is a pale blue kurti with a embellished collar paired with a black and gold print flared palazzo pant. Although, you don’t really require any extra fittings to make this colour pop.”

On what’s new for this trend this year, Prachita shares, “Denims too are trending this season. Pale blue denim like mom jeans  with a crisp white shirt is all you need for this trend.” Include the pale blue colour into your Spring Summer wardrobe as it will come in handy for those impromptu day outs. “A pale blue shirt dress with a tan waistbelt, a tan tote bag and white shoes are the go to look for summers, boyfriend shirts with ripped jeans is another classy option,” adds designer Shriya Joshi who is of the opinion that all you need to accessorise this trend is waistbelts, casual shoes, and a classy bag.

Ranjeeta shares, “For this colour, instead of accessories, focus on patterns and silhouettes. ” On the kind of colours you can pair with this trend, “Pale blue will look really good with a bright yellow, leafy green, different shades of blue. The best part about this colour is that it pairs well with bright as well as dark colours,” concludes Prachita.
