Sleeveless blouses with plunging necklines or bralettes paired with sequin sarees are trending currently. It not only accentuates the curves but also adds a touch of glamour to it. In my opinion, a well-fitted blouse with a neckline as per your preference paired with a saree that has a beautiful flow looks gorgeous on the Indian body type and can make heads turn. Last but not the least, remember to keep it simple yet classy and you can rock any saree like our stylish celebs.”

Designer Nishit Gupta says, “Even in terms of clothing as simple as a blouse, one thing is sure and that is every girl likes to invest in a sensual sleeveless blouse to go with her saree. The trend of sleeveless blouses with beautiful sequin sarees is spreading in B-town like wildfire, and it’s already a fashion statement among millennial celebrities. One can opt for a bustier sequined blouse that flatters every body type. Or invest in a sweetheart neckline with embellished details for a stunning appearance in plain sarees. It can accentuate even a plain cotton saree and look quite graceful.”

Blouses can be styled in a variety of ways and the sleeveless ones look more attractive as they flaunt your collar bones and toned arms. Delhi-based designer Anuradha Ramam opines that sleeveless blouses can go well with all kinds of body type and can be worn in several ways. She says, “Opt for a contrast deep neck simple sleeveless blouse with piped edges and tassels for a dramatic effect. One can also go for a gold or silver sequined blouse with no trim, which can be paired with any kind of daily or designer saree. If you are wearing a traditional saree like Kanjivaram, batik and block prints, you can go for a solid colour sleeveless blouse. Add the zari on the straps and you have a glam blouse with subtle bling. If you are not comfortable with deep necks, then pick a high neck or a boat neck design. Different cuts like backless, one shoulder or even strapless are good options for young girls to match it with their sarees.”
