How this actress mixed high-end brands with local weaves
We often see celebrities donning expensive clothes from high-end brands. Seeing them in high-street or local brands is a surprising move, which almost never happens.
Recently, Bollywood actress was spotted in a simple cotton handloom saree. The saree, which her sister said she bought from Kolkata, is said to have cost just Rs 600. The peach-colour saree had a simple border and she paired it with a matching high-neck blouse.
The actress is known for her extravagant and expensive airport looks. She usually opts for brands like Gucci and Tom Ford, so this simple saree was a refreshing choice for her flight to Jaipur. Despite choosing a simple outfit, she made sure that kept up her fashionable side by pairing the saree with a long, black blazer.
The biggest contrast however, was with the Prada handbag she was carrying. While donning saree worth Rs 600, she accessorised it with a handbag that cost around Rs 2 lakh. Sunglasses from Prada completed her look for the day.
Kangana wore her hair in a no-fuss bun and swiped a shade of peachy nude lipstick on her lips. Black heels and dark nails completed her look.
On her way to Jaipur today Kangana is wearing Rs 600 sari she picked from Kolkata, she was shocked to know one can get such good organic cotton in this amount and it is heart breaking to see how hard our people work and how little they earn.....(contd) pic.twitter.com/EMPJJ4hzzU

Rangoli Chandel, Kangana’s sister captioned the photo by expressing her surprise that handloom sarees are available so cheaply in the country. “It is heartbreaking to see how hard our people work and how little they earn,” Rangoli tweeted.
Through this post, she urged her followers to support indigenous brands more before they are taken over by international brands.
