Makeup from day to cocktail
In our fast-paced life, we need everything at the click of a button. But when it comes to makeup, that’s not possible. However, here is a great way to transition your day look to your night festive glam getup: for a day look, begin by using a matte or dewy foundation base that matches your skin perfectly. It is important to use muted and subtle shades that blend well with your outfit. Harsh and bright colours should be avoided as the light tends to reflect much more during the day. Use pink and peach eyeshadows on the eyelids with a light stroke of kohl and eyeliner. Ombre lips in creamy shades are also a trendy option for this festive season. Finish the look with a high volumising mascara on the lashes.
To transition this look into one for a cocktail, on the same eyeshadow, apply glitter eyeliner to highlight the eyes. Use a darker shade of lip liner to outline your lips. Finish off the look with an illuminating glow by using a highlighter on your cheeks. This easy look doesn’t need additional heavy duty makeup but just a few things in your makeup kit.
