New Irish whiskey from Slane

Co-created by Brown-Forman and Alex Conyngham, the first batch of the new whiskey has hit the stores in Ireland.

There’s good news for whiskey lovers. A brand new Irish Whiskey has been launched from the Jack Daniel’s owners, Brown-Forman’s stables. The Slane Irish Whiskey will be a triple casked blend brewed on the historic Slane Castle in Co. Meath. The spirit giant also plans for a high-tech distillery being built at Slane Castle.

Co-created by Brown-Forman and Alex Conyngham, the first batch of the new whiskey has hit the stores in Ireland. Made from the highest-quality grain and malt Irish whiskies, it’s enriched by a signature triple-casked blending method.Come this summer, the Slane Irish Whiskey will be distilling from the 250-year-old gothic Slane Castle grounds. Once functional, the column and pot stills at the distillery will create a wide range of whiskies.
