Women are consuming McDonald’s fries right after sex to try and get pregnant, research from ChannelMum.com has found.

Why? Because they believe the salt in the fries could increase their chances of becoming pregnant, the Metro reported.

However, this is not a trend that has taken off as only 3% of women have tried it, the report revealed. There is still no word yet to suggest the fries made any difference.

A survey conducted in the UK also found other tricks women have used.

* 58% put their legs in the air and pretend to ride a bicycle for a few minutes after having sex

* 37% consume dark chocolate daily

*  37% consume pineapple juice

*  One in 10 women wear socks in bed (Keeping warm has been prove to increase chances of climaxing)

"Falling pregnant isn't always easy so couples who have been trying a while will attempt almost anything to help," Siobhan Freegard, founder of ChannelMum.com told the Metro.

Adding, "While there isn’t much medical science to back up these tips, our members swear they have all helped and we have hundreds of bouncing new babies to prove it."
