Green footprints to look good

Green beauty is all about incorporating eco friendly, plant based ingredients that are ethically sourced and cruelty free products into our beauty regimen. It's about being more aware of what goes in our beauty products and how they are sourced.

Doing more for our planet is about more than just our carbon footprint and recycling, it should have no limits and excluding animal based products and unethically sourced ingredients from our everyday routine is a necessary step towards that goal.

Our beauty industry is slowly but surely including the demand for green products into the system and there are quite a few brands at the forefront of this green movement that can help you get started on your green journey.

Unfortunately at this moment there aren't any Indian beauty brands that are green and effective. But there are many international brands producing sensational skincare, makeup and fragrances that are helping the green beauty movement heal and renew our planet. Some of the products that these brands produce are body butters, organic cotton buds, anti-aging and anti-texture serum and much more. Next time while shopping for products, here are a few things to look for that will make the product green - a little leaping bunny indicates that the product is not tested on animals, look for words like organic, fair trade and wild crafted that comes after the asterisk symbol. Pick uo the natural and essential oil based fragance rather than artificial ones.
