Drip' to the wrinkles!
The trend of incorporating IV drips into beauty treatments is getting bigger. The treatment’s popularity is attributed to two factors— zero downtime and instant results. By quick fix, all it takes is about 15 minutes to have this treatment weave its magic on your skin. Celebrities like Kajol and Rihanna have allegedly tried the treatment out.
The procedure is simple. When it comes to procuring IV, there are two sources — One which comes from Japan and the other from Thailand. The treatment entails injecting a whole cocktail of Gluta, Vitamin C, little bit of collagen, and hyarulonic gel, to get significant results. The cost per session varies from Rs 6,000 to Rs 15,000. The presence of Gluta in IV drips gives off a uniform skin tone, which looks more natural. Gluta gives you that glow, the healthy essence of it all.
While the effects are instant, sans major side-effects; this is just a temporary fix. The IV shots do a stellar job in assuring that the pigment on one’s face, neck, arms and feet is the same. Since it's an IV shot, patients are advised to keep away from alcohol on the day of the treatment. While IV shots detoxy your liver, consumption of alcohol nullifies the effect. Ensure you have eaten and are well-hydrated. Drinking at least two glasses of water before the IV shot is taken is recommended.Abstain from strenous exercise post treatment. You can resume your hectic workout session in a couple of weeks.
After Care: There is no point in taking a gluta shot, when you have no intentions of using a sunscreen. Make it a habit to use a good nourishing night cream, post treatment.
The treatment is open to anyone above 18 years. There is no limit to the number of sessions you can go for, provided you get a routine consultation done with a dermatologist.
The effect of a session, though promising, is very subjective. For someone who has taken oral supplements along with their IV shots - the number of sessions required would be less. In three to four sessions, a healthy glow is achieved. For someone who’s never have had a gluta exposure in the past, mostly men, it relatively takes more number of sessions for significant results to show.
