Here's the real reason why a baby moves frequently inside the womb
Pregnancy is a life changing experience for many women filled with different emotions including the feeling of the child moving inside. While it’s nothing unusual when a woman is expecting, people still wonder the reason behind these frequent movements.
Findings of a new study point out that a baby’s activity inside the womb may be a way to develop stronger bones and joints. Researchers came to the conclusion that movement stimulates molecular interactions turning cells and tissues of an embryo into functional bones.
It was also found that not enough movement in the womb may leave a child with brittle bones and abnormal joints. Cells make bone or cartilage depending in where they are with movements directing them, and the absence of movement gives out incorrect signals.
Experts say that the sensation of a child moving inside means the baby is developing well and one should consult a doctor in case they notice a reduction in activity.
