Inorbit Mall Vashi hosts Navi Mumbai Monsoon Run: Over 2,500 citizens run for cause

Navi Mumbai saw Inorbit mall Vashi in association with Smart Conceptz hosting the Navi Mumbai Monsoon Run on Sunday.

Leading a collective voice to the differently enabled community of India, close to 2,500 people from different walks of life participated in the monsoon run.

The objective of the marathon was to raise awareness and support the lives of differently enabled people.

The run was flagged off from Inorbit mall by eminent personalities Miss India Earth Shweta Chaudhary; Amit Kumar, Ultra Marathoner and Mrs. Commonwealth Asia Pacific runner up 2016-17 Sonia Shetty Singh.

Commenting on the initiative, Naviin Ibhrampurkar, Head of Marketing and Corporate Communications Inorbit Malls, said “We are happy with the tremendous response that we have received for the Navi Mumbai Monsoon Run. Such initiatives give us an opportunity to not only spread awareness in the society but also contribute towards the betterment of differently enabled individuals. We appreciate the spirit of the organisers and participants.”

The marathon was categorised into a 10K timed run and a 5K fun run. The event was a great success with the support of Apollo Hospitals, Magic 104.6FM, MRSSIndia.com and Townscript.

The entire proceedings of the run will be utilised for the betterment of the differently enabled community. Such marathon runs invoke a sense of responsibility and inspire people to dedicate some time for health and fitness.
