An angry bride has gone online to mumsnet and ranted how her friend ‘stole’ her wedding venue and is even inviting the same guests.

Taking to the parenting forum, she said: “I feel really angry with my BF right now and can't decide if I'm being unreasonable or not...

She went on to add that she is getting married in June and is having a wedding weekend. The couple had hired a large house and guest cottages with an indoor swimming pool, games room etc from the Friday to Monday for their 25 guests.

Unfortunately for her, she added that her friend planned a “formal church affair with sit down dinner” in September – but then changed her mind.

She added: “Only now, BF has announced that the wedding plans have changed as she is eight weeks pregnant....and that she has just booked the same house and is planning to invite close family and friends to join them for a relaxing weekend away to celebrate their wedding – five weeks before my wedding!

The bride added that their friendship group is the same, so other than family, they will have the same guests.

“Basically, now her wedding will be almost the same as mine, but as hers is first, I'm the one that will look like I copied her!”

The woman said she is “absolutely livid”. Mumsnet users rallied round and offered their support.

One wrote, “That is a really awful thing to do. Cheeky cow”, while another said: “Very poor form of her and I’d be sure to tell her your feelings.”

“That is a really horrible thing to do,” commented one mum, as another reasoned: “That’s pretty bad! Least you have you invites out already so people will know you were first.”
