Skin-tillatingly Smooth!
Skin resurfacing is a method for diminishing the appearance of imperfections on the skin's surface. During the laser skin resurfacing procedure, a laser is used to dissolve the molecular bonds of the damaged skin cells, layer by layer until a smoother, more uniform skin appearance is achieved. The procedure may also be referred to as laser skin rejuvenation because of its anti-aging benefits.
Fraxis Duo is a treatment in skin resurfacing. It is an advanced laser which removes layers of skin tissue in a fractionated method to help reduce fine lines, wrinkles, pimple scar, traumatic scars, stretch marks, uneven coloration, skin laxity and improves skin texture. When a client comes in for this treatment, the skin is first made numb using a local anesthetic cream for about an hour. Then micro pulses of energy are delivered into the skin in case of laser. Most patients will experience a warm feeling and an immediate tightening of the skin surface.
Fraxis duo has the benefits of combining a fractional CO2 laser with micro-needle fractional RF. Both superficial and deep stimulation is achieved in one device, increasing effectiveness and reducing side effects. The clinical outcome is maximised by delivering energy to the target skin layer without damaging the surrounding tissue. This treatment is said to be cost-effective and versatile.
It is important to keep your eyes closed and have protective eyewear at all times during the laser treatment. This procedure is used to treat acne scars, pimple scars, stretch marks, traumatic scars and keratosis pilaris with is a condition that causes rough patches and small, acne-like bumps on the skin.
Clients need to prepare themselves for some persistent redness, minute bleeding point swelling, hyper pigmentation and hypo pigmentation. Post the procedure, extra care needs to be maintained.
Patients who have undergone this treatment need to wash their faces with cleanser and use an SPH 50+ sunscreen every 4 hours. The post procedure cream prescribed by your doctor needs to be applied. Patients must strictly avoid sunlight by using a scarf, dupatta, cap, hat, helmet, and a black umbrella. The cost of the treatment is '8000 per session.
