As the savage bride goes viral, no one is talking about the woman that got slapped

A lot of people have become viral sensations in the past few years either due to bizarre antics or acts that got appreciation. But sometimes while applauding a person about an incident, we may miss out on something more.

The savage bride who slapped a man for picking her up without her consent is getting a lot of love on social media. But at the same time people failed to see how the same man slapped another woman to vent out his anger.

While the video does show a woman refusing to let the man off the hook for touching her without consent, it also shows the violence women suffer. There is nothing really hilarious about the video since it shows the man’s utter disregard for consent as well as his sense of entitlement when he slaps the other woman.

So although we may tag our friends in memes about the incident and share it as a joke, it doesn’t seem so funny when you see the larger picture.
